Welcome! I am temporarily hosting the FFFC while Fandango recuperates. Please join me in sending good vibes to Fandango with the hope that he’ll be back in top blogging form ASAP. In the meantime, I will be posting a photo I grab off the internet and challenging bloggers to write a flash fiction piece or a poem inspired by the photo. There are no style or word limits.

This week’s photo is credited to kaboompics on Pixabay. It depicts an open appointment book/ organizer on a table. Pink flowers in a vase and a glass candy jar are also visible.

    Sugar Daddy
    This is my father’s house. He has lived here for twenty-eight years. I am twenty-nine. He rents out a room to young women through Airbnb. I signed the guestbook with the name he gave me. I can still taste the sugary candy as I walk down the street.
