Red velvet hearts
Stuffed with sweet candy kisses
Glittery pink boxes
Full of soft silken wishes
Longing glances
Slow sultry dances
Champagne at sunset
A sky streaked with violet
The stars spell our names
Be mine tonight
Be mine forever
Love’s golden treasure
Increases as we spend it
Embrace the dream
Fantasy’s ephemeral key
Drops away with the dawn
Another lonely grey morn
Erasing the passion
Obliterating illusions
