A Sleigh of Wishes

Night sky sleigh santa reindeer moon stars

Trees wish for water
Storm clouds gather in darkness
Stars indifferent

Trees wish for water
Snow smothers dirty gardens
Leaves shiver and fall

Gather in darkness
Wish for the impossible
Bells in the distance

Stars indifferent
Wishes granted at random
Many regretted
