
She knew he was going to give her a long, deep kiss, but she was surprised when he asked to borrow a thousand dollars instead.
“I should have listened!” she yelled, her lust morphing into raging anger. “My friends warned me that you were a wolf, but they neglected to mention it was the Wolf of Wall Street.”
He held up his hands. “Whoa. That’s harsh, babe. Remember I come from a different culture, and we’re entrepreneurs who are always supportive of new ventures. I have this fantastic idea for a—”
“Then ask for money from one of them,” she interrupted. “I work hard every day and don’t have extra cash lying around to invest in crazy dreams.”
He smiled seductively. “That’s the thing, sweetie. When my business becomes a huge success, which it will, guaranteed, you won’t have to work at all. You’ll live in luxury and can pursue any crazy dream you desire.”
“My dream is to find a man who doesn’t ask me for money.” She walked away from this loser and vowed to stay off the dating sites.
