My Final Quack

ducks

Ducky, this will never work.
Don’t try to win me back—
You know you’ll always be
From the wrong side of the track.
You don’t belong over here;
Don’t tempt me with a snack—
I won’t feather your nest
And that’s my final quack!

    Though poor “Ducky!”

    I often see goose drama when I’m walking in the park. I can really imagine them having this conversation. But there is one solitary duck I see sometimes . . .

  8. The rhymes already suggest it but I love how you use the word ‘quack’ as the very last word. It gives it some punch.
