Spicy Memories

Pink sunset

The saffron sun set in a cinnamon sky
As we bared our souls on the beach;
I should have known better, but that night
Made all my dreams seem within reach.
You kissed me under a vanilla moon;
Sea salt stars twinkled from on high
Lemongrass shared her sweet perfume…
These spicy memories still make me sigh.
