It’s Friday again, woohoo! It’s cooled off a bit here, and I’m grateful for that… but it looks like the temps will rise again next weekend, bummer. In any case, we’re halfway through September and the first day of fall is coming right up. Can you even believe it?
Jim’s Thursday Inspiration prompt this week reminded me of one of my favorite things, which has to do with a roll in the hay. Yep, it’s Young Frankenstein! Every October I rewatch this movie and laugh my head off, especially during the roll in the hay scene. The whole cast is fab, in particular Teri Garr and Cloris Leachman (RIP). Enjoy the clip!
Please note that my TGIF is a prompt post, so feel free to jabber on about your favorite fall movie or whatever you feel like and link back to me. You can even use the snazzy logo!

A great movie, like most of Mel Brooks’ work. Marty Feldman was much loved here, he could reduce a scene to rubble without even trying 😊

It truly is, although the rape scene hasn’t aged well unfortunately…

Young Frankenstein is a CLASSIC. The cast is stellar and it is full of laughs. Brooks shares some great stories about the film in his book, It’s All About Me. It is in my top ten “Most quotable movies”

Love “Young Frankenstein”! It has the honor of being the first movie to make me laugh out loud in a crowd.
