Scary skeleton

I just began watching Stranger Things (S1, E1) because my daughter loves it so much. She’s on the current Season 4, so I have to hurry and catch up. She hooked me up with the S4 soundtrack on Spotify and it’s fab!

She was a bit worried it might be traumatic for me because of bullies and such, but then she remembered that I was in high school in the 1970s not the ‘80s, so it’s all good, lol. My other daughter warns me it gets super scary in S2, so we’ll see how it goes…

    I watched S1 when it first came out. I enjoyed it, but am not interested in watching anything more beyond S1. For me, it’s partly that I’m just not nostalgic for my own lifetime. I don’t want to go back and a lot is lost on me, anyway, because I grew up in two different countries. The other reason is I’ve lost my interest in supernatural storylines as told in our modern era. This stuff probably feels fresher to younger audiences who don’t have 6 decades of TV under their belt. (Weirdly, I watched S1 of the new “Hardy Boys” and enjoyed their recreation of the 80s better.)

    I also watched it because my grands do and I never thought it very scary and liked it! Have fun
