Your island beckons
Warm white sand
Turquoise waves
Mango mai-tais in the shade
A zillion stars
Glitz the night
But I resist this paradise
Best to let
Sleeping dragons lie
Than to risk their fire
Should they wake
So I’ll go on sailing by
Even though my heart
Longs to try
Tempting fate

    I think that I would also skip that island, as that dragon doesn’t look very friendly.

    Beautiful imagery tempts one to explore the beautiful island but that dragon is not one to mess with. Love your take on the prompt, Paula!
