Clear Cookies [socs]

I’m not talking about transparent Oreos (but what a great idea since they’ve done every other version imaginable), but clearing my cookies from my devices. Do you do this regularly? I’m kind of obsessive about it. Whenever I get disgusted with myself for wasting too much time online with games and whatnot or googling gossipy garbage, I clear everything from my browser and also Google history. It makes me feel better, like starting a new diet or something. From now on, I vow, I will use the internet only for good… for work or blogging or looking up movie times or researching weird sh!t for my novel or checking med sites to see if I have cancer.

And that lasts a couple days, just like a diet, until I can’t resist the sweet temptation of stalking an ex…

  1. Lol this is extremely relatable.

I think all those ads help in steering us in whatever the algorithm believes our pattern to be (and thats on a good day)

Otherwise a main course is served through yet another “world altering” event 😅

  4. I totally understand you want to get a clearout of your Internet history every once in a while. I also completely understand your resolution to only use the Internet purposefully is only lasting a few days. Good luck for as long as it lasts.

  7. I try to save sites that I visit often, but they never save. Then, if I clear out the cookies, I can’t get auto-suggested the name of that place that has the thing, ya know?
    I’m hopeless🙄🤦🏼‍♀️😂😂

  8. I believe if you let cookies and algorithms control your web browsing “experience,” the Internet will get narrower and narrower until, finally, all you will see is a reddish light flickering at a frequency calculated to induce a mild euphoria and an uncontrollable desire to change all your passwords to your first pet’s name.

  9. Naw. Because then I have to log into all those websites that require login all over again. I’m not tossing my cookies!
