Sun on Trees

sun shining trees

Clouds in my coffee
Clouds across the sun
Sun comes up
Sun in my eyes
Eyes don’t lie
Eyes without a face
Face in the mirror
Face the music
Music and lyrics
Music for the wedding
Wedding dance
Wedding cake
Cake or death
Cake is better than pie
Pie oh my
Pie in the sky
Sky is the limit
Sky so blue
Blue bayou
Blue is the color
Color me mine
Color of money
Money makes the world go ’round
Money talks bullshit walks
Walks around the park
Walks and talks
Talks to put me to sleep
Talks a mile a minute
Minute rice
Minute of your time
Time is on my side
Time to say goodbye
Goodbye cruel world
Goodbye to you
You light up my life
You could be the one
One of these days
One of these crazy old nights
Nights in your arms
Nights in white satin
Satin shoes
Satin sheets
Sheets on the bed
Sheets to the wind
Wind in my hair
Wind in the trees
Trees on earth
Trees turning green

Poetry form: blitz. This is my second blitz poem, which is a form created by Robert Keim. I like to continue them by starting with a line from my last one.
