tropical body

She is lavender morning and velvet night and butterscotch candy afternoons.

She is ocean dreams and sunset hopes and daisy petal wishes.

Painters and poets have tried to capture her beauty in swirling paints and whirling words, but her raging storms can wash them all away.

And then she’s as gentle as the sweetest butterfly kiss of rain.

Respect her powerful essence; revere her ubiquitous gifts.

But never presume you are privy to all her secrets.
