party toast champagne

When days wind down to a blur of work and sleep, it’s good to know there’s a bit of gold I can keep.

I hoard my friendships like a treasure, for indeed what is sweeter than the company of kind and caring souls?

Good food and laughter bond us together. Movies and games sustain the connection.

After a year of loneliness, it feels so substantial and fresh to see people’s smiling faces in the flesh.

Warm hugs all around… and I feel blessed.

  6. Nice one, Paula. It’s interesting — to me, anyway — how I used most of the same words you used in one of my posts and our stories that resulted couldn’t be more different. I really like what you did here.

  14. So happy for your blessings! ❤️
I have been to the office the last two Wednesdays (departments rotate as we cannot be over a certain number, yet). Not a glum face in sight! We are all so happy for the opportunity to see coworkers/get out of the house/have a change of scenery/conversation that we arrive happy and leave satisfied. I don’t think any of us ever thought about how much we treasure other people, but we do. And we are blessed who still have people to treasure—friends, family and co-workers alike!
