    I loved living and working in Northern California, but we had to move to own a home. Douglas and his siblings put their parents’ home on sale in Castro Valley for $1.2 million, maybe two weeks ago. 15 offers received, the first on the first day, and the winner was a cash offer of $1.55 million. Insane!

    My biggest memory of NorCal is the San Mateo bridge. Soooo close to the water and sooooo long! We almost moved up there when I was 12. StepDad was gonna take a transfer, but we obviously stayed. I sometimes wonder if my life would’ve been that much different. 🤷🏼‍♀️
