Monochrome ocean
The view from Alcatraz, November 2019

My thoughts spun wildly,
So I went down to the sea;
The waves rolled in mellow,
The tide tinged with green.
I absorbed the energy
Of calmness and peace,
Nourished by the easy,
Salt-laden breeze.
