Experimental Share

Okay, the happiness engineers say they are working on the disappearing images in the app issue, but in the meantime, don’t make an image the first element of your post ~ also Ashley’s featured image solution works if you must have an image first. I did that and it worked. For this post, I’m trying the other thing (putting text first).

Melanie has a new set of questions for us today…

What’s the tallest building you’ve been to the top of?

I’ve been to the top of the Sears Tower in Chicago and also the Space Needle in Seattle. Whichever one of those is taller, that one.

What do you do to keep fit?

Bitmoji laugh

Run around in circles, leap to conclusions, skate on thin ice, and laugh my ass off!

What’s your jack-o-lantern carved to look like?

The last man I slept with, so I can set him on fire, mash him up to bits, and run him over with my car. Just kidding! I’m so over that whole thing, pffft… 🎃

Do you have hope or have you lost it?

I’m very anxious about the US election. If the impotus wins again, things will keep getting worse as they have all year. If Biden wins, I’m afraid bunches of rightwing gun nuts will go bananas. 😳

Feel free to share something you’re grateful for! Images and photos or poems, essays or free writing (stream of consciousness) pieces are all acceptable! AND you don’t have to do this part, it’s always optional!

I’m grateful the WP happiness engineers replied to me immediately about the image issue, offered me a temporary solution, and are fixing the problem. They say! 👻

  1. I’v been most certainly noticing the image and app problem. Mine never work without text first.

  6. I share your election fears. I fear for the entire country. We’ll probably be celebrating “bonfire night” with our UK friends only ours won’t be a party☹

  7. Maybe my wishing to have a long love affair with you isn’t such a good idea after all. But it would keep us both fit. ❤

  9. The only problem with Biden winning is that Trump might not leave the the country to escape prosecution for all of his gazillion crimes and instead mount another bid for POTUS in 2024. That’s the dread of dreads. After the votes are properly tallied, if he immediately flies to Russia for his debriefing instead of running for 2024, that’s *another* possible problem. As usual, the biggest problem is always Trump himself. Totally untrustworthy and utterly awful.

  10. Thanks Paula for Sharing Your World! The images came over just fine (on my end) and lookin’ good! November 4th is one of the most dreaded/anticipated days for me this whole year. I try to envision a GOOD outcome. Time will tell. Your ‘exercise’ options are perfectly valid. How do you think some of the rest of us ‘keep fit?” LOL….great answers! Have a pleasant week!

  12. Space Needle had some view when I visited…..not sure if the Wallace Monument in Stirling is higher or not….certainly it’s overall elevation is as on top of a hill……and certainly provides more….if not as entertaining….exercise (since it only has stairs) than your exercise of choice.
Loved the pumpkins and humour 😊
