Haunted by the melody
That played when you danced with me,
I twirl in a tattered gown,
To music only I can hear;
Motes and notes float all around,
As your footsteps fade and disappear.
I linger in this lonely house,
Its stones crumbling through the years,
Above the crashing of the sea
With a raven singing out of key.

A fantastic poem Paula. I can just see her dancing in a tattered gown!
