5 Things [Fave Food Combos]

Yaaay! Hooray! 😀 Dr. Tanya is bringing back the #5Things prompt. Here are my 5 fave food combos with my very own photos…

I know you were expecting me to have cake or cupcakes, or maybe cookies or pie, and here I go posting normal food, so like what’s up with that? Welp… There’s no combo with cake. Cake stands alone. Same with the others. Sorry, but I’m not a fan of ruining my desserts by glopping ice cream over them. Nothing against ice cream! Love ice cream. But it’s also a stand-alone.

That’s just how it is.

  3. Dang! I’d eat any of those, except the sweet potato/broccoli thing. But I would adore those sunflower (?) seeds immensely. That pasta dish looks AMAZING and the lox and bagels are something i had to give up when I moved to a town without proper bagels nor their additions to. (you can keep the onion though. No onions please). Overall? Nom nom nom!! 😀

  6. Carrot & cake. The perfect combo. 😂😂😂. By the way it is my favorite dessert. Pecans not walnuts and no raisins or coconut (I’m allergic). Okay I’m craving it now. 😊 dang!

    • I like to bake the sweet potato in the oven at 400 for an hour. It’s way better than nuking. It’s okay to nuke some broccoli though, if frozen, or give it a quick steam or sauté if you prefer. I vary the toppings but always use butter (or a substitute) and it’s great to sprinkle on some seeds or chopped nuts if you have them. Looks like I went a bit overboard in this pic!
