The Last Farewell

Love is in da blog

Happy February! I’m participating in Bee’s fun music challenge again and hope you’ll join in (you don’t have to play every day).

Today’s theme is a love song regarding a breakup and here’s “The Last Farewell” by Roger Whittaker. This song always brings me to tears; it’s about a separation that no one seems to want. That feels unbearably sad to me, when it’s so difficult to find love in the first place.

  2. Love Roger Whittaker! This song does evoke a lot of emotions, especially the war part. And I just realized: This could be the guy’s POV of the “Brandy” song.
