If Not For You

Love is in da blog

Happy February! I’m participating in Bee’s fun music challenge again and hope you’ll join in (you don’t have to play every day).

Today’s theme is a song for family. This one doesn’t have the word “family” in it, but it captures my feelings perfectly. When I googled the lyrics I learned that Bob Dylan wrote “If Not For You.” Many have covered the song, but I like Bryan Ferry’s version best. Think of “you” as plural…

  1. I have only heard this song by George Harrison, but this is very good, Great lyrics, “If not for you The winter would hold no spring Couldn’t hear a robin sing I just wouldn’t have a clue, if not for you.”

  5. A wonderful song. I know I’ve heard it by someone else, can’t remember who, but I do like this singer’s version very much. 🙂
