Sillygism

Now Melanie has questions! I just got done with wozzername’s. Welp, if I never finish the Mediocre American Novel, we can look right at these two for blamey shamies.

What is truth?

-Okay, so if a poet says truth is beauty, and a mathematician says beauty is simplicity, then can we conclude truth is simple? I think we can. Truth is easy; lies are hard. Lying is stressful to normal humans, which is the principle behind polygraphs. Some say they’re junk science, but most non-sociopaths will experience stress from distorting the truth. Lying takes the order and simplicity of life and perverts it into something ugly and nasty. Those who don’t experience stress from lying, who can do it smoothly and naturally… well, who wants to be around people like that? ๐Ÿคฎ

Whatโ€™s one thing people would never know about you just by looking at you?

-I’m a liar.

Do loud noises bother you?

-Yes and also not so loud ones.

If you were guaranteed the correct answer to just one question, what would you ask?

-WHY ME LORD?

What fills YOUR heart with joy?

  4. This is a beautiful posting! Also, I’m beaming good healthy engrams to you to help you finish your Mediocre American novel. I did this in 2014. Am currently trying to write something a bit different(well, actually two novels). But you keep the faith, and don’t feel chained-down by daily writing quotas. Writing quotas are the death of good writing. Write it as it comes to you.

  6. I think being able to lie and not feel bad about it is the definition of a sociopath.

  7. I wouldn’t ask “Why me” but I would ask “What for?” Cuz I did that just today. ๐Ÿ˜€

  8. Thanks for Sharing Your World Paula! You have a great grasp of ‘truth’ which may explain why you’re so popular! (you are). I took the “I’m a liar” answer with a grain of salt. Because EVERYONE is a liar at some point, even if it’s minute ‘white’ lies that don’t really hurt anything or anyone. Your family is lovely! And I admire (as well) all the things you shared in your photographs – except the cat. Now the cat looks happy and like a nice cat and all, but I’m allergic. *achoo!!* ๐Ÿ˜‰

  9. What an adorable cat! I have a cat too with similar coloring. Cats are so therapeutic, aren’t they? Tbh I was more distracted by the adorable kitty, and beautiful photos. Have a great day! ๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿ’•
