Remnants

Stars in space

I don’t remember the date,
But somewhere deep
In the nebulous sleepy maze
Of that fateful conversation
You shrugged and said:
What is love anyway?
That’s when the easy rhythm
Ended and the fissure split
The night, one side yours and
One side mine.
Stars may collide and align
Until the end of time…
Or perhaps it ended then,
And the rest is just
Remnants of ghostlight.

  2. I wrote a post today using the same prompt words and with a similar theme, but yours is so much more poetic than what I wrote. Nicely done.
