I would like to thank my fellow tea-lover Dr Tanya of Salted Caramel for this award. Tanya has an interesting and informative blog, and I’m very happy she thought of me. ๐ป
Now, whatโs the Mystery Blogger Award?
โItโs an award for amazing bloggers with ingenious posts. Their blog not only captivates; it inspires and motivates. They are one of the best out there, and they deserve every recognition they get. This award is also for bloggers who find fun and inspiration in blogging, and they do it with so much love and passion.โ ~ Okoto Enigma
Wow! Thank you again, Tanya! ๐บ
Now I am to answer Tanya’s 5 questions and then tell 3 things about myself. At that point, I will end this award ceremony without doing my own tags or questions, as is my preference. ๐ฆ
Five Questions For The Nominees Of This Award
1. How old is your blog now?
– My first post on Light Motifs II was March 25, 2011, so almost 8.5 years at the time of this posting. ๐ฅณ
2. What do you enjoy most about blogging?
– Currently, I appreciate the opportunity to have an audience for my fiction and poetry.
3. How important do you think Social Media is for the success of a blog?
– I consider the WP blogging community to be social media. My entries autopost to Twitter, but that doesn’t help much. When I had a Facebook account, I autoposted there too and did receive a bit more traffic and comments, but it wasn’t that significant. Most FB’ers posted their comments on the FB side. Annoying! ๐ก
4. How would you define a sucessful blog? In other words, what do think a successful blog looks like?
– A site that updates frequently with engaging content. Since it’s a blog, I usually expect some mutual following/commenting unless the writing is so utterly fabulous that I don’t care. Almost always, this is not the case. Except for you, of course! ๐คฃ
5. Funny/Weird Question: if you were a superhero, what superpower would you like to have and what would you do with it?
– I would choose invisibility, and I’d use it for evil. ๐
Here are 3 things about me:
1. I use butterfly imagery a lot in my writing, but in reality the butterfly life cycle isn’t very poetic or romantic.
2. My fiction is really fiction; it just seems real sometimes because I’m a good writer.
3. The female characters in my stories are not me, though perhaps some of them do things I wish I could have done. โค๏ธ

I would also choose invisibility, but I would use it for spying on naked women. Does that make me a pervert?

Congratulations on the award Paula.
I love butterflies and use them a lot on my cards. This year there will be stickers on my Christmas card envelopes.
