Three Things Challenge: PL107

Welcome to the Three Things Challenge. Every day at 10PM (PST) I will post three seemingly unconnected things that will, hopefully, ignite your muse. You don’t have to use all three things if you don’t want to. There are no restrictions on length, style, genre, or anything. Simply read the prompt, see where your muse takes you, and bring us along for the ride. Use 3TC as a tag if you’d like and link back to this prompt, or post your link in the comments below so others can find you.

Happy Writing! 😀

Today’s prompt: memorial, hamburger, frisbee

  1. The plan was simply to disrupt Memorial Day. This wasn’t some fiendish terrorist plot. Gerry had been grounded for running the mower over Mr. Bellinger’s rose patch. Not believing the punishment fit the crime, he decided to exact revenge as only a ten year old could. While he kept his father distracted throwing the frisbee out on the street, his younger sister Grace, under strict orders, sprinkled sneezing powder, acquired at school, over the uncooked hamburger meat. Gerry learned that weekend that revenge wasn’t all it was cracked up to be. It was also the last time he ever ordered Grace to do anything.

  3. To memorialize this event, I created a frisbee to look like a hamburger… it didn’t fly.
