Three Things Challenge: PL2

Welcome to the Three Things Challenge. Every day at 10PM (PST) I will post three seemingly unconnected things that will, hopefully, ignite your muse. You don’t have to use all three things if you don’t want to. There are no restrictions on length, style, genre, or anything. Simply read the prompt, see where your muse takes you, and bring us along for the ride. Use 3TC as a tag if you’d like and link back to this prompt, or post your link in the comments below so others can find you.

Happy Writing! 😀

Today’s prompt: apples, laser, Michigan

  6. The laser cutter’s broke. What do you want me to do? It says right here. We are not responsible for you missing your client deadlines just because the machine is down. Don’t depend on it. Just don’t. What? It’s gonna cost you? Yeah, I know. Sorry about that. No, really. It sucks. What? What happened? Oh, that asshole from Michigan, yeah, always talking about his precious sports team, I dunno, anyway he was adjusting the table height, hit the button with the puck underneath the thing and smashed the lens. Something like that. I don’t know how the hell you do something that stupid but you know. That’s why we have disclaimers. All these fuckin’ amateurs around here. Yeah, no, he never fuckin’ apologized. One of those assholes who doesn’t take responsibility. We don’t ask for much. It’s not like you have to bring an apple to the teacher or some shit. Just own your shit and don’t be a dick. That’s all we ask. Oh, no, they won’t revoke his membership. They need the fee income. I know, What can you do.
