Love in Children’s Songs

Welp, idk if this is officially a children’s song, but it’s from The Lion King, so I’m going with it. It’s also from Elton John, one of my very favorite artists. “Can You Feel the Love Tonight?”

I couldn’t use the official movie link because that didn’t have Elton singing, but this vid has the same scene, so yay!

  1. I’ve always like Helen Reddy’s “You and Me Against the World”, sung for her young daughter as they struggle together. I could relate since I lived with a divorced mother and it was just us two.

  6. Love the Lion King! Elton sings that song so good, too.
side note… seeing the warthog on the video reminds me of my grand daughter this past groundhog day…she kept saying the warthog sees his shadow. haha!
