The Writers Tag was created by Lorraine Ambers and Ari Meghlen for writers to connect with each other and help expand our writing community. To participate, we answer 12 tag questions and are encouraged to tag other writers. So, here we go:

– Idk that I am. It’s often difficult to stay motivated, especially to write full-length novels while working full-time. I don’t do much else besides work and write. But right now I’m very into my WIP.
Tell us something surprising or unique about yourself.
– I’m pretty ordinary. Just a divorced woman who raised her kids and is now trying to get by and hopefully have a not-terrible retirement.
Share the hardest part about being a writer and how you overcame it.
– It’s having enough time of course, and I haven’t overcome it.
What’s your favourite social media and why? Share your link.
– I like this current WordPress blogging community. People are supportive and kind, and I find poasts to be generally fun, creative, and motivational. I’m very happy with you lot!
Share some uplifting wisdom in six words or less.
– Life is short; eat dessert first.
Are any of your books available in Paperback?
I had a look on Amazon and could see Kindle versions … only I don’t have a Kindle.

You can use the free Kindle software on cell phones and computers. If you’re not sure about buying a book, download a free sample first.

My mobile phone is a very basic Nokia one – I only use it for basics like texting.
But if there is a way I can download it onto my laptop that would be perfect.
If I buy the kindle version, does that mean it will just be automatically downloaded to my laptop???
Sorry if I appear a bit hopeless – I am not far from a Luddite techophobe!

Yes. Once you’ve installed the software and registered or logged in Amazon (sorry, it’s been years since I did this), you’ll automatically download to that device. If you have more than one, you can choose.

Thank you for looking! (And thank you Keera for your reply.) I hope you do try the download of a free kindle reader. I plan to do a paperback in the future though… and also an audio book.

Having enough time to write is what I am always in need of.
There just aren’t enough hours in the day.

You’re not that ordinary nor anonymous, Paula. Not when you can make somebody on the other side laugh or cry because of a blog post. ❤
